SOLIDARITY SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE:
SERVING NEW IMMIGRANT POPULATIONS
Through telling the stories of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, Solidarity Social Work Practice: Serving New Immigrant Populations explores the increasingly important issue of immigration. Grounded in the Core Values of the social work profession, the text strongly supports introductory courses as these values are directly applied to practice with immigrants from around the world.
Supporting practice-level course work through the introduction of a new practice paradigm, Solidarity Social Work Practice is both challenging and transformative. Questions at the end of each chapter provide the opportunity to analyze and evaluate information using the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Competencies.
