Based on four years of qualitative data collection, and ten years of social work practice, Solidarity Social Work Practice: Serving New Immigrant Populations explores the stories of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Grounded in the Core Values of the Social Work Profession, the text supports introductory courses and others as these values are directly applied to practice with immigrants from around the world. In this work, the ongoing debates regarding global migration take on real meaning and purpose for students and practitioners in any human service field.
